Naturally Boost Immune Response with DMG
Researchers agree that Dimethylglycine, or DMG, performs consistently when it comes to keeping you feeling young, healthy, vital and strong, but did you know it also has the astonishing ability to boost immune response?
DMG’s powerful metabolic enhancing qualities, and its ability to aid in critical processes associated with cellular respiration, boosting immune response, and oxygen utilization within the body are supported by more than 40 years’ worth of clinical research.
Here’s what you need to know about DMG’s powerful ability to boost the body’s immune response… naturally!
Hi, Steve Barwick here, for Targeted Nutrients…
Most people have never heard of DMG. Indeed, most doctors have never heard of it, because they’re trained to focus mainly on drugs that merely suppress symptoms of various diseases, rather than helping strengthen and invigorate the body in order to avoid those diseases altogether.
Yet doctors certainly should have known about DMG, because it’s responsible for triggering over 41 crucial biochemical reactions in your body that are directly and undeniably linked to how well you age.
What the Russian Space Program Discovered…
In fact, this powerful anti-aging nutrient was first discovered by scientists working for the Russian space program. They were trying to solve the problem of accelerated aging in Russian cosmonauts, which was caused by prolonged exposure to high levels of ionizing radiation in space.
When cosmonauts who used DMG returned to earth, they displayed none of the symptoms of cellular damage and premature aging their counterparts all displayed.
That astonishing discovery spurred Russian researchers to study DMG like no other nutrient had ever been studied. What they found was astonishing. They discovered that DMG works at the cellular level and serves as a building block to amino acids, hormones, neurotransmitters, and even DNA.
It’s a powerful metabolic enhancer and energy-booster. And it aids in critical processes associated with cellular respiration, boosting immune response, and oxygen utilization within the body.
Russian researchers also discovered that DMG plays important roles in the prevention of age-related fatigue and in supporting youthful brain function and clarity of mind. What’s more, they found DMG is critical to proper immune system function.
And this has been borne out by a much more recent 1990 study conducted on human subjects in which DMG was found to increase antibody production by more than 400%.
Indeed, DMG stimulated both branches of the immune system, producing a three to five-fold increase in protective antibody production. [Reap EA, Lawson JW. (1990). Journal of Laboratory and Clinical Medicine, 115, 481-486.]
Banned by the FDA
Yet at one point in time, the FDA actually banned DMG from use as a nutritional supplement.
You see, in the 1970s, usage of DMG among natural health advocates and pro sports figures had become widespread.
At the time it was referred to as “Vitamin B-15” by scientists – this, out of the mistaken notion that a new B-vitamin had been discovered. Others called it pangamic acid, or pangamate (pan meaning “universal” and gamate meaning “from seeds”), because in nature the nutrient is widely found in seeds.
You might have even heard the story about World Heavyweight Boxing champion Muhammad Ali and his use of DMG. Late in his boxing career Ali openly bragged about using pangamate (DMG), and credited it with his unexpected wins against significantly younger and faster boxing pros. He even held up a bottle of it at a press conference!
Professional sports teams followed suit, such as the Washington Redskins, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. They started giving DMG to their aging players.
In fact, DMG has often been credited as the “secret weapon” used by the Washington Redskins during their three stunning comeback Super Bowl victories from 1983 to 1992, until other pro teams found out about DMG and quickly began using it themselves.
Soon, DMG was being sold in every health food store in America. It became all the rage among natural health proponents who loved it’s profoundly invigorating anti-aging properties. Health food stores could barely keep it on the shelves, it sold out so quickly.
Then the FDA moved against it, and – surprise, surprise – banned its usage at the behest of the big pharmaceutical companies who didn’t want a safe, all-natural anti-aging nutrient competing with their prescription drugs for the over-40 crowd.
Finally, in 1994, after years of unavailability thanks to the FDA ban, Congress passed the DSHEA (Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act). And DMG was once again allowed to be sold as a nutritional supplement.
After all, it’s completely natural…it’s found in the seeds of plants and food crops…and it’s even made by the liver in the human body. What’s more, there are no significant side effects, even at high dosages, but instead, only amazing healing benefits.
After DMG returned to the market, scientists like Roger V. Kendall, Ph.D. and others began looking into the older research from the 1960s and ’70s, as well as the older Soviet clinical research demonstrating DMG to be an astonishing anti-aging supplement.
Dr. Kendall became so enthused about DMG, he even wrote a book about it titled Building Wellness with DMG, stating that,
“DMG is an incredibly important nutrient that has far-reaching effects in the body from better cellular energy to strengthening the immune system. It is key to both the prevention and healing of disease.”
He went on to state,
“…this multi-functioning nutrient has the power to fight disease, ward off secondary infections, give you great energy and stamina, improve sexual function, decrease epileptic seizures, and enhance brain function. New research suggests that because DMG boosts our cell’s most basic functions it is one of the most important nutrients we can take.”
As word of DMG’s many astonishing age-defying benefits began to reach the general public once again, largely by word of mouth, its usage once more began to grow rapidly among the “40-plus” crowd who cherish its many uplifting and restorative properties.
How Does DMG Boost Immune Response?
But how does DMG work to heal and boost the immune response in the body?
According to Dr. Richard V. Kendall, Ph.D., author of Building Wellness With DMG, and widely considered to be the world’s leading expert in the biochemistry and therapeutic applications of DMG:
“DMG occupies a key spot in the metabolic pathway, which makes the cells of the body work more efficiently. It improves cell-to-cell communication and enhances the body’s functions at the cellular level.
It also gives a wide range of specific health benefits, provides protection against infectious agents, and can optimize performance whether you’re an athlete or simply want to have a more active lifestyle.
DMG aids cardiovascular function by improving oxygen utilization, reduces elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels, decreases angina pain and high blood pressure. It possesses anti-cancer activity while preventing metastasis.
DMG modulates the immune system including antibody production, T and B cell proliferation and cytokine regulation. We believe it also works well to support neurological function and mental clarity.
DMG can promote the cellular production of hormones, antibodies, neurotransmitters, nucleic acids, glutathione, creatine and SAMe. As one may expect there’s a broad and very positive impact on health and well-being from a supplement with such wide-ranging metabolic benefits.”
Boosts Immune Response AND Increases Stamina…
And as Jiashu Zhang, scientist, inventor and patent holder of a “Method of producing N, N-dimethyl glycine hydrochloride” states in his patent:
“DMG plays a crucial role in the respiratory cycle of the cells, transporting oxygen and serving as a potent methyl donor… A study in animals showed that immune response to the flu virus and to salmonella was increased between 300% to 1,000%, making DMG a powerful immune booster.
DMG has also been used to increase stamina. In one study, athletes experienced a 40% increase in stamina. DMG helps transport oxygen into cells, increasing their efficiency and preventing lactic acid build-up.
Conclusively, as a nutritional supplement, DMG can improve physical and mental performance…the nutritional and physiological properties of DMG come from it being an ergogenic substance (i.e., it tends to increase work output), an anti-stress nutrient, a cell antioxidant, and an immune response potentiator.”
Essential to All Human Function
What’s more, nutritional supplement expert George Foss states in The Foss Report on Nutritional Supplements:
“In humans, DMG is made in the liver. But as we age, the body unfortunately makes less and less of it.
Yet DMG is nevertheless absolutely required by the body’s 70 trillion cells for everything from proper nutrient absorption to cellular metabolism and energy production. It is directly responsible for oxygenation of the bloodstream, tissues and organs.
It boosts neuronal activity and other key brain functions. It’s vital to healthy heart function. It supports proper liver function and detoxification. And it’s also required by the body for peak immune system function.
In short, DMG is absolutely essential to virtually all human biological function. It’s even responsible for the body’s production of DNA. Without proper levels of DMG, life simply grinds to a screeching halt.
Fortunately, supplementing your body’s flagging stores of DMG as you age helps restore virtually all bodily functions to more youthful levels, and dramatically enhances the healing effects of almost all other nutrients taken with it…”
As you can see, in addition to naturally boosting the body’s immune response, DMG is a necessary component of all human function. And without it the body would simply collapse.
DMG Has Numerous Healing Benefits!
Dr. James Balch, M.D., and Phyllis Balch, C.N.C., authors of the #1 bestselling health book Prescription for Nutritional Healing enthusiastically recommend DMG for no less than 48 different health conditions.
As Dr. Balch writes in Prescription for Nutritional Healing:
“Taking supplemental DMG can have a wide range of beneficial effects, including helping the body maintain high energy levels and boosting mental acuity.
DMG has been found to enhance the immune system, and to reduce elevated blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It improves oxygen utilization by the body, helps to normalize blood pressure and blood glucose levels, and improves the functioning of many important organs.”
And according to Dr. J. Noverini, D.C.:
“Several of my patients and myself have been taking DMG. Not only do we feel well overall, but our immune systems and liver and heart functions have improved as well. I highly recommend DMG.”
Dr. James Frackelton, M.D., of Cleveland, Ohio, treats cancer patients. He reports:
“Now, for those people who have more serious illnesses, for instance cancer, I include DMG as one of the standard nutrient additions to their dietary programs… These people may still have their cancer, but they show much symptomatic improvement by taking DMG. It boosts their immune system.”
Marina Zacharias, a holistic practitioner from Jacksonville, Oregon is also enthusiastic about DMG. She states:
“The most exciting use of DMG arose from a study by the Medical University of South Carolina. It was reported in the ‘Journal of Infectious Diseases’ that in a double-blind clinical study, DMG increases antibody production by more than 400% in humans.
Just as important, DMG stimulates both the antibody response and cellular immunity branches of the immune system!
The findings were later confirmed at Clemson University in a series of animal experiments led by a professor of microbiology. The Clemson study demonstrated that rabbits given DMG stimulated both branches of the immune system to the extent that they produced a three to five-fold increase in protective antibodies. T cell proliferation was also increased and interferon production was doubled.
DMG also acts as a detoxifying agent and antioxidant, protecting body cells from unwanted reactions caused by free radicals.”
And perhaps that’s why Dr. Roger V. Kendall, Ph.D., author of Building Wellness with DMG, considers this unique and powerful nutrient one of the single-most important nutritional supplements for the health and well-being of the entire human body. Dr. Kendall writes:
“In my research, I’ve found that DMG can enable a person to function at a more optimal mental and physical level as it aids the body in overcoming a number of adverse health conditions…
It provides more mental clarity and greater vitality… can improve brain and sexual function… and has the ability to boost a person’s immune response. I myself have been taking DMG for nearly 25 years to maintain high energy levels, to optimize my cardiovascular health, and to strengthen my immune system.”
In short, DMG is the one nutritional supplement that, simply stated, makes you feel young and vital all over again when you take it regularly.
Where to Get Therapeutic-Quality Stabilized DMG
(Before the FDA Bans It Again)
As you know, Targeted Nutrients specializes in supplying unique and often difficult-to-obtain therapeutic-quality nutritional supplements such as DMG. And we always supply the very best forms available.
In fact, unlike previous forms of DMG that tended to break down in the presence of humidity and therefore had to be packaged as tablets in individual aluminum foil pouches so they wouldn’t lose potency, the therapeutic-quality DMG supplied by Targeted Nutrients is highly stabilized.
This allows it to be packaged in easy-to-swallow vegetarian capsules (with no clumsy foil packaging), giving it far longer shelf life and allowing it to maintain maximum potency for years on end, which in turn gives you a more potent alternative to the older and far less stable forms of this powerful health-promoting anti-aging nutrient. (This also allows you to more conveniently carry DMG in your daily pill monitor!)
What’s more, most distributors of DMG supply only 60 capsules per bottle, and offer only 100 mg. per capsule, for a total of 6,000 mg. per bottle. But when you order from Targeted Nutrients you’ll get a whopping 100 capsules per bottle (that’s 40 more capsules than usual). And each capsule contains 125 mg. of pure, therapeutic-quality DMG, rather than only 100 mg.
That’s a grand total of 12,500 mg. per bottle.
In other words, you get twice the DMG…and it’s the pure therapeutic-quality, American-sourced DMG rather than the unstable, inferior-quality Chinese-sourced DMG other companies offer!
And the good news just gets better: If you’re new to DMG, we’d like to make you a very special introductory, money-saving “get acquainted” offer for readers of this article. This special deal, which allows you to try therapeutic-quality DMG at a steep discount to our normal price, is available for the next 10 days only.
